As part of the process of our 2019 accreditation application some of our patients were asked to complete a questionnaire about their care at our clinic.
We have attached a summary below, on the graph our ratings from our patients are the blue bars, and the national average the back crosses.
One of the issues raised in the survey was regarding waiting time on the phone. We have introduced a system where patients can leave a message if we cannot answer in a timely manner, and then our staff will phone you back so you're not kept waiting on the line.
Another issue asked was why we cannot routinely bulk bill pensioners. Unfortunately Medicare Rebates have fallen ever further below the cost of running a quality medical service. If we routinely bulk billed our patients we would have to reduce staffing numbers or close the clinic. We would advise anyone concerned about this issue to speak to their Federal Representatives.
